How do you diagnose melanoma?
Dr David Hyams MD proposes taking a complete thickness biopsy. Melanoma thickness determines no matter whether it is actually most likely to be an issue. Though melanoma is always hazardous, melanoma that is definitely less than 1 mm in depth can typically be treated by just incision.
Melanoma that may be over 4 mm is a lot extra likely to be systemic and require considerably more agressive treatments (radiation, chemo etc.)
